Our Story

"I am Meriam, founder of Lire c’est facile, and a mother of two."

The starting point

Like many parents, I wanted to support my child in learning to read.
He was curious, asked questions…
but I didn't know how to go about it.
The methods I found were often:

  • too academic
  • poorly suited for young children
  • or focused on letter names rather than their sounds

I started seeing confusion… and sometimes frustration.

The Search for Another Approach

I then decided to train myself to understand how a child actually learns to read.

I trained in Montessori pedagogy and relied on recent research
in neuroscience.

I discovered one essential point: to learn to read, a child must first understand the sound of letters, and then learn to put them together.

A method tested at home... then around me

I started creating simple activities and testing short routines with my child.
The results were very quick:

  • he understood
  • he made connections
  • and most importantly, he enjoyed it

I then offered these activities to other children in my circle.
Very quickly, parents were surprised by their children's progress and enthusiasm.
Some even asked me to share my materials with them so they could continue at home.

The creation of Lire c’est facile

This is how "Lire c'est facile" (Reading is Easy) was born.
A method designed for parents, featuring:

  • clear progression
  • simple activities
  • and a format adapted for a few minutes per day

My mission

Helping parents guide their child in learning to read, without stress or confusion.
Because with the right guidance, a child can learn to read naturally... and with pleasure.
